September 5, 7:12am
It was September 5, the first day of school. I was just starting 9th grade. I could already tell today wasn’t going to be that good, though. It was just a feeling I couldn’t quite figure out why. I’m sure it’s fine, all I gotta do is get through today without getting into trouble.
Should be easy enough, right? I moved to the states for better schooling and new possibilities so it’ll be a fresh start. No old bullies, just new people which means new friends. Luckily I learned english when I was little and I can speak clearly.
Well, I need to go get ready for the day, but I will write everything down later.

I just finished my first day and it was jam packed with people in those hallways. I made a friend today. She’s a girl from my ELA and science class. Her name is Macy. She got paired up with me during science and we got along well. She let me sit with her and her friends at lunch but I only talked to her.
But when I was in 7th period I kept hearing screaming coming from the hallways. Everyone in class was obviously startled by this but our teacher acted like it was completely normal. I was really confused because they weren’t just regular screams, they were blood curdling. They were horrible screams yet our teacher barely batted an eye at the situation. I became even more confused after she refused to respond to any questions and instead told us to stay silent but in the most nonchalant, monotone voice I ever heard before.
Something tells me that this isn’t going to be a fun semester but I can’t make assumptions without information.

What a great start! The suspense is rising, and this school’s secrets might be darker than mine’s!

And that’s saying something. If the school from my series School Day was real, the students’ unspoken rule would be ‘trust no teachers’.
