Every month we have a teacher of the month. This month’s teacher of the month is Ms. Murphy.
Ms. Murphy has been a 6th grade ELA teacher for 15 years. She is very good at her job and her work is always well planned out. Her lessons are really exciting to all the students.
Something to know about Ms. Murphy is her mom who passed away from ALS while teaching and that’s what inspired her to become a teacher.
“I was inspired by my mother who was an educator and she got ALS while teaching and I thought she really did a brilliant job teaching students.” Ms. Murphy said, “One of my favorite memories while teaching is the ALS walk we do every year that many students enjoy.”
Something else to know about Ms.Murphy is that she tries her best when it comes to teaching students.
“I want students to know that I’m funny and I really try my best to do what I can to make school more educational for them all,” said Murphy. “I wouldn’t say I’m a great teacher, I would say that I try to connect with my students the best I can.”
Students in Ms. Murphy’s class enjoy her class and look forward to learning with her in the future.
“I like everything about Ms. Murphy. She’s the best, she’s really funny,” said Matthew Miranda.
“I love her personality and jokes. Her class is cool and so are her lessons,” said Danna Bernal.
Thank you Ms.Murphy for being such a great teacher. If you have any recommendations for teacher of the month, please tell Ms. Soni in room 316.
