The 7th grade visited Hostos on October 28th. Hostos College is located on 500 Grand Concourse, right outside the train station. The 7th grade went on this trip to see the college campus and see their opportunities.
At the beginning of the tour, we were met with a warm welcome from Hostos students. Our tour guides talked about all the different types of degrees and all the financial ways of paying for college.
During the tour guide’s presentation, we were able to ask some questions. One student asked, “What is your daily life at Hostos?” They said they can choose some of their classes and at the time they can take them, but others are mandatory.
