Humans of CHAH: Edgar Bolanos

I interviewed Edgar Bolanos about soccer in CHAH library on june 3rd 2025 because he told me soccer is his favorite sport.”Soccer is my favorite sport because it is fun to play with my friends and I get to make new friends through soccer”Said Bolanos. Edgar enjoys playing soccer. Soccer is important to Edgar because it keeps him healthy and active and in shape. “I like playing soccer more than watching soccer because of the adrenaline and keeps me active.”Bolanos said.

Some challenges and achievements Edgar has done is making the CHAH 2025-2026 Soccer team.He overcame his challenges by practicing a lot in the soccer field. This achievement of him making the CHAH 2025-2026 soccer team means a lot to him because he had practiced for a long time and was finally ready and prepared for that moment. “I like playing soccer more than watching soccer because of the adrenaline I get as soon as I get on the field.”Said Bolanos.

One of Bolano’s future goal is to join the soccer league called “La liga”and play in Barcelona because one of his favorite players play their. Bolanos aspires to play right wing for the team “Barcelona” because that is his favorite position. Bolanos plans to do this by playing soccer and join small local leagues in the area and hoping to play good enough to get exposure.

“My favorite part about playing soccer is scoring because sometimes if its a close or intense match of soccer and you get an important goal it can give your team and  especially you get excited and feel happy.” said Bolanos.

Finally a memorable quote from the interview is” I started to like soccer 2 years ago,” .This quote is memorable because it shows how dedicated Bolanos is and how much he likes soccer because only in 2 years he made it to soccer time which shows that he practiced a lot.
