Eid is an important religious celebration for Muslims around the world because it brings people together in faith, gratitude, and kindness. During Eid, Muslims gather to pray, spend time with family and friends, and share food and gifts. It is also a time to remind people to be thankful for their blessings, and strengthen their relationships with others. Eid helps create happiness and a sense of belonging among Muslims everywhere.
Eid is really important to me because it stands as a way of showing gratitude and importance to my religion. I hope many people are able to understand that.
One of the most important parts in my opinion is that it allows families to get together and celebrate. During Eid my family and I celebrated by having this huge barbecue. We had burgers and hot dogs along with lamb. I hung out and played volleyball with my cousins then we had our own little photoshoot while taking our own photos. It was really fun.
Something that some people want to know is the meaning behind the eids. The first Eid is Eid ul Fitr which is to celebrate fasting for a whole month or 30 days. The next Eid which is Eid ul Adha means festival of sacrifice is celebrated to show your submission or faith. That’s what both Eids mean.
The only misconception is that there’s one Eid but there really are two.
