For the first edition of Community Commentary, staff writer Malia Eleno interviewed CHAH students about their Halloween plans.
Krystal Reynoso, Elaisha Moore, and Dalila Gonzalez, three ninth graders, and Migdalia Guinis, an ENL teacher here at CHAH, answered a few questions for us newspaper staff.
Are you going to be trick or treating?
Reynoso: “Umm…yeah.”
Moore: “Oh yes, sweetie, I am.”
Gonzalez: “Yup!”
Ms. Guinis: “I am going trick or treating with my children and my nieces.”
What is your costume going to be?
Reynoso: “I don’t like know yet…yeah, I don’t know what I’m gonna be yet.”
Gonzalez: “I’m thinking Trixie from subway surfers…or Kim Possible.”
Ms. Guinis: “I will not be dressing up.”
Are you going to be attending the Masquerade Dance?
Reynoso: “Yes.”
Moore: “Uh…yes!”
Gonzalez: “Of course!”
Costume or casual?
Reynoso: “I’m actually gonna be dressing up casual.”
Moore: “Casual.”
Gonzalez: “I haven’t decided yet but probably casual because of short notice.”
Stay tuned for monthly editions of Community Commentary to get the inside scoop from CHAH students and teachers!

Love the Q&A, try to have different quotes and add background detail behind the quotes because after a while readers will get too bored to finish the Q&A.
